Terms and Conditions

We only provide a 3D printing on demand service and are not responsible for any license arrangements with any STL files you supply to us.

For larger 3D printing of more complex objects involving one or more STL files requiring final assembly involving a number of individual smaller sub-objects we merely print all individual objects within the STL files. We do not provide an assembly service nor painting of the final product. We print to the default scale of the objects within the supplied STL's. We are not liable if these parts then subsequently don't fit together in their final assembly if the scale of the STL files were incorrectly supplied.

We do our best to remove as much support material as possible however some support material may still be present on the supplied parts and will need to be removed by yourself. Some parts may have some roughness and require additional sanding or smoothing by yourself. This is not a defect in the printing process.

If the STL and objects require specialist printing filaments or colours not typically stocked with ourselves these will need to be ordered in advance. Additional payment from yourself may be required before we purchase these materials. This may result in a delay in your STL being printed and such delays cannot be avoided and fall outside of any refund in part or full.

The 3D printing process isn't as fast as a conventional paper laser printer. The larger the object or STL the longer it will take to print. The finer the detail will also result in increased printing times. Using multiple colours with the AMS system will also result in increased time to 3D print objects. We do our best to provide an approximate print time based on the STL you provide to us. Sometimes printing might take longer if the unexpected happens with a failed print which may increase print times depending on the size and complexity of the print. Our largest 3D print to date involved printing over a meter long model for a museum exhibit which took 5 days and 6KG of PLA material requiring eight pieces to be individually printed to then form a final product. If you require a far more complex and large STL printed within a very short time window please let us know ahead of time so we can priortise prints where possible. We do operate on a first come first serve basis and 3D print jobs are placed in a queue once payment has been received. If unfortunately a 3D print order is delayed we cannot be held responsible.

Note: 3D printing technology is a complicated process which may result in some minor imperfections in the final product. Some parts may have a rough edge or pattern due to the printing process. We do our best to minimise this but for minor imperfections we cannot be held responsible for a part or full refund. If the supplied STL file contains errors or imperfections leading to defects in the printing process we cannot be held responsible. We are not obligated to fix any errors being present within the STL file and will just print the file as is, as in our experience by fixing the STL file this has then introduced additional defects when printing.

We don't retain any STL or project files within our slicing software once your item has been printed. If at a future date you then require additional STL's printed of the same product you will need to supply us with the files again and this will be treated as a new quote.

The offer of a FREE 3D scanning of an object is subject to us retaining a digital copy of the object for a possible future use. Objects sent to us is the sole responsibility of the sender and we cannot be held liable for loss or damage as the result of mishandling by the courier. If the object is valuable please ensure you take out adequate postage insurance. You will need to include a pre-paid postage label for us to return the object to you as we not responsible for return postage. If you request a 3D printed replica of the object we may be able to return the object combined with the 3D printed replica. 3D Scanning is a complicated process and whilst most objects can be scanned in the quality and accuracy of the 3D scan is subject to a number of factors such as what the object is made from and its geometry or features. If we are unable to 3D scan the object in we will return the object to you using your pre-paid postage label. We cannot be held liable to postage costs due to us not being able to successfully scan in the object.

Warranty
3D printed parts come without any warranty. The prints produced are to a high quality and we use the best printing filaments which do not suffer from defects, warping or cracking once printed.

Refund Policy
We don't offer a refund policy if you change your mind once your STL has been 3D printed due to the costs involved on our side. If you do change your mind please contact us ASAP soon after sending payment to see if we have printed your STL. For larger printing projects where multiple STL's are present it may be possible for you to get a partial refund based on the amount that has been printed. In which case we will only charge for the amount of filament printed along with other costs.
You are entitled to a refund however if we encounter a problem in printing your STL file and it cannot be printed; or in the rare instance where we experience a mechanical issue with our equipment and we cannot proceed with printing your STL file.

Shipping
Shipping costs will depend on the final output size of all the combined STL files printed (if multiple STL's are printed). For smaller 3D printed items these are typically sent using small sized boxes and the inside items are protected with bubble wrap and the box is sealed with 3M wrapping tape. Items are generally sent by either Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Evri Tracked and are insured for loss or damage. In rare cases where the item is damaged we ask that you kindly take photos to show the damage to the box and the item inside. We require proof of all damages to be e-mailed to us in order for us to contact the courier to file a claim. We can then issue a replacement item or refund. We cannot be held responsible for items once they have been shipped.

Your personal contact details are governed by a standard Privacy inline with GDPR and the Data Protection Act.

We reserve the right to take photographs of your 3D prints to showcase on our website and social media posts to help promote our printing services. To opt out of this please contact us in writing.

Our printers can print as a consistent single colour or alternatively with multiple colours using the AMS system.

Note: Our dog tags were custom designed and 3D printed using multiple colours utilising the AMS system. Larger 3D prints such as ED-209 were assembled from smaller 3D printed objects and then hand painted. The Borg cube was printed using a metallic effect PLA and hand finished with additional painting. Note: Hand painting and assembly of larger objects are not a service we provide but the above samples provide a good example as to what can be achieved with our 3D printers.

For 3D Printing

Simply contact us and supply us with some basic information to begin with along with details of the STL file you would like us to 3D print.
We can print a single object upto 350mm x 320mm x 325mm per object. Larger objects can be spliced and assembled post printing. We aren't responsible for checking licenses as we are merely providing a printing service to yourself so we will just print what is supplied to us.

We will respond to your e-mail and if you haven't already supplied us with a web link we will request the STL file for inspection to ascertain if we can print it and to then supply you with a free no obligation quote.

Once you are happy to proceed we will grab some extra details from yourself and you then simply pay us via a secure PayPal payment link or a private eBay listing and we can get to work to print your STL file.

Once printed we will then carefully package and ship to you the 3D printed item and provide tracking. The item will also be insured for damage or loss.

Our quote is broken down based on the type and amount of filament required for the actual object to be printed plus any supports (in grams); total printing time (electricity usage/wear and tear); pre-printing preparation time; post printing clean-up; markup; packing and shipping.

We then calculate the above using information gathered from our 3D printing slicing software combined with a spreadsheet to help provide a fair, consistent and accurate quote.

For 3D Scanning

We offer a FREE 3D scanning service. If you would like an existing object 3D scanned in drop us a message via our contact form for further information. You will need to send us the object by post and include a pre-paid returns label so we can return the object to you. Once the object is scanned in, we can then provide a quote for or a 3D printed replica. If you require the STL file this can also be provided subject to an additional charge.

We specialise in offering a 3D printing service up to 250mm by 250mm by 250mm (LxWxH) in build volume size per object in various types of printing filaments such as PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU etc.

If you would like us to 3D print something, this can be an existing STL file either created by yourself or via a website such as Thingiverse or Cults3D. The maximum size per object we can print is 250x250x250mm. We merely provide a printing service so are not responsible for purchasing STL's as part of this process. We will respond to the e-mail address you have supplied to us below. If you have further details you would like to share such as the web address to the STL file please include this within the message box below or alternatively you can upload upto four STL files.

Note: Once you have accepted a quote and we receive payment and begin the printing process you are bound to our Terms and Conditions. Please refer to our T&C's for further information.
